By means of the measurement values of voltage and current BLR-CM calculates the conditions in the network. Independent measuring and auxiliary voltage inputs allows a voltage measuring range between 50-530V. Additionally, there is the possibility to change the phase-shift between voltage and current in steps of 15 degrees, for maximum possible flexibility of the relay in applications with voltage measuring phase/neutral, phase/phase and for mixed measurement with different transformer types. The BLR-CM is measuring a host of electrical values, power and energy parameters and even individual harmonics upto the 32nd level on voltage and current. The BLR-CM can also perform rapid real-time reactive power management with the T-version, using thyristor switching.
